Longest Daylight hours

The daylight hours gain until midweek when they turn around and
then there is a gradual downward decline in daylight hours until
just before Christmas.
I wondered how many people even know or cared about that.
Then, I wondered,
"Does it matter?"

  1. Maybe a lot of people only know this occurrence as the start of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere. We have a low key celebration for summer solstice, usually with a bbq and dinner eaten outside, then a bonfire in the evening.

  3. I think it does matter, as it provides a nice chance to think about time, and yes, I like to observe its change during the upcoming months. Please have a good Tuesday.
