A rambling train of thoughts about the universe and our micro solar system consisting of our dear Sun and other planets in a magnetic dance while we hurtle through space on the face of a rock and stare at flat screens where we attempt to connect while we detach.

Ran across this photo of a quilt square My Grandmother Lindbeck sewed. Great perfect stitching 𧡠Suzy Sunbonnet the Pattern. She made 6 of them π https://t.co/bIbWKq3HTI pic.twitter.com/gvWj6OmeG6

Coffee taught by Grandma
Fred Roast,
Fred’s latest journey in search of decent coffee,
He has been doing a great dark roast Brazilian-Columbian blend.
The grind was not right using the electric coffe grinder.
So Fred dusted off Grandma's coffee grinder & we had
The best coffee...
Now educated to Burr grinding, we got an electric version of Grandma's grinder.
Thx to njg for the grinder...
The cat photo is a magazine photo Grandma liked, per Mom and so do I.

Fanny
Fanny.
This is where it all started.
Fanny, my grandmother.
She made the quilt squares listed a few posts back.
Mom relayed to me that Fanny
as a young woman became an actress
and when the travel became too
much for her father, he put a stop to that.
Would Fanny have been opposite Lionel Barrymore if given the chance?
You bet!
I went by Fanny for a time in High
School and Jr. High.
Fanny in my memories? I only have one.
Sitting in the living room on
128 e. high and
her saying, "Button, button, who's got the button?"
