Ice goes out

The ice on Lewis Creek broke up and flooded the road with giant chunks of ice.
The Charlotte road crew had to clear the icebergs.

Snow Ghosts & Frozen Lakes

Happy for archival photos,
Never tiring of images of snow, or the frozen lake.
Each snap of the shutter, an experiment,
A moment captured, then gone.

Lake Champlain, Ice, Fog & Sun

Like steam, fog is produced as the lake freezes.
A shanty appears,
a hearty soul.

Fred drove and I shot some road footage.

Ice pretty mild here, thankfully.

Unfortunately, others have suffered more damage.

to harvest the silver salmon,
perch, smelt & pike
and whatever fits through the hole.
