Powers Within
Pondering the maimed victims of the Boston Marathon bombings,
I was reminded of patients I have cared for,
A few veterans, coming in long after the war ended, for aftercare, complications of disease, trauma and more.
This drawing shows the powers possessed by some.
In spite of his deficits,
He triumphs.
