Tennessee Civil War 150: Shiloh Hill
For my Great great Grandfather who died fighting for the Illinois Regiment in the Battle of Shiloh...Jimmie Driftwood led me here...
Mom died about 150 years after the battle of Shiloh that took her great grandfather. Her Mother's Mother's Father. Mom was in the D.U.V. the daughters of union veterans. After he died, his widow, Pauline Myrtengren had to prove she was married to her husband, now named Green. Then she could qualify for a $5 a month pension for her and her 4 fatherless Bohemian children.
