POSTCARDY: the postcard explorer: Lincoln's Gettysburg Address

POSTCARDY: the postcard explorer: Lincoln's Gettysburg Address: Here are two maximum cards featuring the Gettysburg Address stamp that was issued on November 19, 1948. The issue date was exactly...

Crow Morning

DSC03197

Crows generally do not like being captured on film or otherwise.
One morning I captured Pa Crow's image
At the same time, Black Country Communion in the car stereo,
Gearing me up for work.

Erskine Lague....Do you dare solve this mystery?

Erskine Lague's facebook link....go ahead...

Some strange magnetic field found me in its clutches,
Clawing at my curiosity,
My conspiracy theorist side,
My inner gears that longed for a challenge.

His name I couldn't forget.
Erskine Lague.
I doubted his existence
Even as I revered him
Before even hearing one strum of his.

I knew my journey had only begun,
to learn all I could about this
transient country music sensation,
Most of his life a mystery,
After which we cannot say
Whether or not
He is history.

Psalm Challenge 126

Psalm Challenge 126

Psalm 126

Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)
126 Unless the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Unless the Lord keep the city, he watcheth in vain that keepeth it.
It is vain for you to rise before light, rise ye after you have sitten, you that eat the bread of sorrow. When he shall give sleep to his beloved,
Behold the inheritance of the Lord are children: the reward, the fruit of the womb.
As arrows in the hand of the mighty, so the children of them that have been shaken.
Blessed is the man that hath filled the desire with them; he shall not be confounded when he shall speak to his enemies in the gate.
