New Year New Thoughts
The New Year
Isn’t really New.
I guess I mean
It’s just another rotation
Of our Earthly Home.
That’s still Significant
Every Day
Not just when the crystal ball drops
Or people stay up late, drink and eat.
Mentally it is a day to
Wipe the slate clean,
Erase the bad memories of yesteryear,
Another trip around the Sun 🌞
