From our group:

Hi friends!

The campaign to stop the fracked gas pipeline in Vermont is at a pivotal moment. We expect a decision from the Public Service Board this month, which could either stop, delay, or give the green light to Vermont Gas. Many of us have resisted this pipeline expansion for years – attending rallies, speaking publicly, filing complaints, writing letters, and some have taken courageous acts of civil disobedience. This struggle against the fracked gas pipeline is part of an escalating resistance against fossil fuel extraction and other systems of oppression worldwide.
Will you join us?
It is time for us to pledge to resist. That is, we are asking you to commit – should it be necessary to stop the fracked gas pipeline — to engage in serious, dignified, peaceful civil disobedience. If the system fails us and allows Vermont Gas to proceed, we must join together and take action.
What you can do:
1) Check out the link here for more information, to sign up for trainings, and to pledge your participation!
2) Forward this email to your friends and family.
3) Donate to our action legal fund!
Onwards,
AR
